Abstract:

A geographical information system (GIS) is a framework capable to assemble, keep, process and display specific information, identified by geographical location, which can combines layers of information to give the user a better understanding about that location. Intelligent agents prove to be a useful tool for data mining in geographical distributed knowledge bases. In this paper we present a method of using intelligent agents for discovering association rules in geographical datasets.
