Abstract: | The author analyses, based on experimental investigation, the thermal and dynamic performances of extended aluminum surfaces with sinusoidal ribs. Those performances are compared with performances of similar exchangers but with straight ribs. The conclusion is that the sinusoidal ribs are superior to straight ribs. The sinusoidal ribs could be used for recuperators. |
