The search for a solution to eliminate the effects of springback in sheet metal forming determined extended researches. One of the direction of reseach focused on the utilization of design experiment methods that can offer information not only about what are the factors of influence but also on the importance of different factors. This paper presents a study of the author concerning springback in U bending using fractional factorial design.
