The switched reluctance motor (SRM) is currently the focus of increasing attention because of its begin operational features and its attractive control mechanisms. Its fault tolerant make the use of the SR machine convenient in applications requiring high reliability. This paper presents a control method for a SRM, based of both steps and micro steps control. The control method is described in which a digital-to-analog converter is used to regulate the current of the phase of SR motor. This method make to increase the precision of the positioning systems.
