Abstract: | Taking into account the main factors which alter the durability of a structure (the stress range, the characteristics of materials, the environment and technological factors, etc) – the present paper presents a way for assessing the durability. In this respect, there has been endorsed the linear cumulative degradation criterion Palmgren-Miner, used in the assessment of the average degradation level attained by the end of the operating period. |
