Abstract:

The wear is one of the most important dangerous processes with small speed which generates the loss of the machine tool accuracy, the decrease of the machine efficiency, the decrease of the resistance to dynamic loads, the increase of the noises, a.s.o. The vibrations which accompany the working processes developed on the machine tool lead not only to the generation of the surfaces with geometric errors or to the decrease of the working productivity, but also to the intensification of the machine components wear. The present paper analyses the influence of the vibrations on the wear process developed in the guiding couple of a plane grinding machine.
