The paper presents the basic principles sustaining the bioconversion into biogas of organic waste from agriculture. The process of gasifying or anaerobic digestion is introduced as well as the factors that influence bioconversion. Some experimental data are introduced, as well, concerning the biogas production resulting from the gasifying of some dejections of animal origin.
