Abstract:

The goal of this paper was to quantitative determine magnesium from potable water. In water magnesium gives one third or the total water hardness. It is known that magnesium is a mineral substance indispensable to the human body, taking part to approximately 325 biochemical reactions. Till now there are little studies to research the toxic effect of magnesium over the human body. Lately there are more and more studies that try to asses the carcinogenic effect of magnesium.

Keywords:

water, magnesium, biochemical reactions, carcinogenic effect.
