THE CHOISE OF THE BEST VARIANT IN A DECISIONAL PROCESS – CASE STUDY

Abstract:

The managers may be confronted with situations where they have to choose the best variant in a given situation, that is very difficult especially when the the criteria are not expressed in the same unit of measurement, like, for example: m2, lei, kg, percentage etc. In this case the decider may establish the best action variant taking into consideration all the criteria and using a long list of methods like: method of utilities, method of leader, method of Onicescu etc. In this paper is presented a case study concerning the choice of the best decision using three methods: method of utilities, method of leader, method of Onicescu.
