Abstract:

A compiler is projected as a modular and well structured programming system. The compilation process, in a logical point of view, is divided into stages and each of the stages is divided into phases. In physical regard, the compilation process is divided into passages. Two of main stages of the compilation process are analysis and synthesis, making only the core of the compilation process. During the analysis, the compiler analyses the source program in order to determine its structure and meaning. The analysis stage is decomposed to three special phases: lexical analysis, syntactical analysis and semantic analysis. The synthesis stage also consists of three special phases: code generation on interlanguage, intercode optimization and code generation. In this paper the analysis phase- syntactic analysis is elaborated.

Keywords:
