Abstract
Features of ROTARY COLD FORMING are very important: low force requirement with high deformation ratios, good fill characteristics - even with complex geometries, high accuracy, enhanced mechanical properties through cold working effect, optimal grain flow, single operation forming in one die eliminates need for intermediate annealing, good die life, simple die design concept, environmental integrity. The paper presents some data about these economic plastic deformation technique used more and more in construction of automotive parts.
