Abstract
When we analyse the distribution of the heavy metals in urban soil, the unique characteristics of the urban environment are limiting the efficacy of the statistical methods. The paper arguments the necessity of conducting a research project to analyse the distribution of Pb, Cd, Ni, Mn, As, in the soil of Bacau City, Romania and presents the working methods which shall be used.
