Abstract
This study focuses on the mapping of vulnerable areas to agricultural pollution of Bonoua area where groundwater are envisaged to support the District of Abidjan. Thus to achieve this, the methodological approach adopted involve the use of GIS functionality combined with multi-criteria analysis method. The analysis of groundwater vulnerability map to nitrate in the region of Bonoua highlights five vulnerability classes ranging from very low to very high. The class of "medium vulnerability" is the most dominant and represents 44.21% of the mapped areas. This vulnerability map was validated using the measured nitrate levels in groundwater.
