Abstract: | Omega polynomial was proposed by Diudea (Omega Polynomial, Carpath. J. Math., 2006, 22, 43-47) to count opposite, topologically parallel, edges in graphs, particularly to describe the polyhedral nanostructures. Basic definitions are given and clear relations with other three related polynomials are discussed. These relations are supported by close formulas and appropriate examples. Close formulas for the calculation of Omega and its relative polynomials and derived single numbers, in several classes of nanostructures are given. |
