License Policy

In submitting an article to SCIENTIFIC STUDY & RESEARCH – Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Food Industry Journal, authors and all co-authors, agree that the article, if editorially accepted for publication, shall be licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial, No Derivatives License 4.0 (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).

CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/) includes the following elements:

  • BY: credit must be given to the creator.
  • NC: Only noncommercial uses of the work are permitted.
  • ND: If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you may not distribute the modified material.

Copyright statement

The authors retain the copyright for their article and agree to transfer first publication rights to the journal if and when the article is accepted for publication.

By way of illustrative examples of re-use, each author retains the following rights:

  • copyright, and other proprietary rights relating to the article, such as patent rights;
  • the right to use the substance of the article in future own works, including lectures, books, thesis, disertations;
  • the right to reproduce the article for own purposes, provided the copies are not offered for sale;
  • the right to self-archive the article.

The authors grant to the Journal Owner the following rights, effective from the date on which the Article is accepted for publication:

  • the non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, display, distribute and otherwise use the Article, or any part of the Article, for any purpose, in print, electronic and all other media (whether now known or later developed), and to prepare derivative works, in any form, in all languages, throughout the world, for the full term of copyright;
  • the non-exclusive right to license third parties to exercise all or any of the rights granted herein for non-commercial purposes;
  • the exclusive right to license third parties to exercise all or any of the rights granted herein for commercial purposes;
  • the right to enforce the rights granted herein against third parties.

The article can be shared for non-commercial purposes as long as the authors are credited. Permission from Editura “Alma Mater” (Alma Mater Publishing House) is needed for commercial re-use or sharing adapted and derivative versions.
