Abstract
This paper deals with some aspects concerning the operating process of the packaging machines for flexible thermo-sealing packages. These machines work in a formatting - filling - closing system in vertical or horizontal flow. In the paper are presented some theoretical aspects regarding the determination of the main functional parameters of those machines. Also, there are presented the technical dates of several packaging machines and the synthetic linkage between the functional and the machines parts.
