Abstract
Appealing to "the orthotropical structures theory", this paper establishes the calculus expressions of the neutral surface position and the cylindrical bending rigidity, for a cylindrical cover with welded radial ribs. In this study, the influence of the welding seams above the values of the mentioned sizes is taken into debate. The demonstration is conducted on two practical cases.
