Abstract
Seven molybdato and hydrogenomolybdato new adducts with HgPh<sub>2</sub>, HgCl<sub>2</sub>, HgBr<sub>2</sub>, CdCl<sub>2</sub>, CdBr<sub>2</sub> and SbF<sub>3</sub> have been synthesized and characterized by infrared spectroscopy. The suggested structures are discrete, the oxyanions behaving as polychelating ligands. When non symmetrical cations are involved, supramolecular architectures are obtained.
