Abstract
This paper describes a new control method for the switched reluctance motor (SRM) at variable load torque. This control is performed in real time. The control characteristics of the SR motors are analyzed and the control variables arc identified. The main aim of the work described in me paper is the design of a high-performance ripple-free dynamic torque controller for a SR motor. A cascade controller structure is considered.
