Abstract

The introduction of sophisticated and highly controlled processing techniques, i.e. single crystal and directional and squeeze casting etc. has provided a mean by which high integrity parts can be manufactured directly from or powders. One way for obtaining pieces with high mechanical and technological properties is the hot isostatic processing. The effect of particle size distribution, internal pressure in the pores and others factors are included.
