The Presence and Representation of Woman in the Life and Work of Cezar Petrescu

Cezar Petrescu was a remarkable figure în Romanian literature, which leads us to believe that he has fully caught the attention of literary critics. However, one aspect of his life, namely the sentimental one, takes a secondary place. Anyhow, this aspect can still be reconstructed from his correspondence and from an appeal to his work. It cannot be left in the shadows, especially since women embodied complex beings, capable of love, but also of destroying destinies.
