Abstract
Publicistic discourse – a dispositive of cultural mediation
Our paper focuses on the role of the press as a communication dispositive that is involved in the process of cultural mediation. Cultural mediation includes a wide variety of forms through which cultural information becomes more accessible to the general public. Communication devices imply a “communication contract” between the partners of the communication act. The analysis of the media dispositive will highlight the specifics of the “communication contract” from the perspective of adapting to a general audience the cultural contents broadcast by the local press in Bacău, remarkable for promoting the Romanian language and culture and the local Bacău cultural heritage.
