THE FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT: PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE
DROB CĂTĂLIN
This study aims is to present the evolution and the perspectives of the foreign direct investments on the world level. Over the past few years the evolution of foreign direct investment worldwide was in general positive. Starting with international financial crisis, the overall foreign direct investment began to decline. Despite the current period of recession, perspectives for long-term targeting foreign direct investment remain promising, the major transnational companies continuing their international expansion.
PARTICULARITIES OF MATERIAL PRODUCTS TRANSPOSITION IN INTERNATIONAL TRADE
IVOVIĆ JELENA
With increase of global trade also growing is the need for material products transposition, i.e. it comes to their increased participation and activities in their transposition. It is especially related to internationally oriented companies in material products global trade. For successful tracking of the transposition processes, basic differences related to appropriate distance, currency variation, and adjustment to national regulations and to specific differences between countries in the transport modes must be well acquainted with international logistics. Concerning the mentioned, problems in international transport of material products are related to the transporting infrastructure, choice and availability of transport modes as well as the particularities of certain types of transport related to the types and quantity of products. In this paper an analysis is given on the selection of the appropriate modes of transport through consideration of time dimension of a transit, costs predictability and their influence on the state of a product during transport. Additionally, an analysis is given on physical transfer of buying and selling the product through documentation regulation on foreign markets. Specially analyzed are the revised provisions of Incoterm due to adjusting to changes in transporting technologies and electronic communications. The analysis special subject was one of the essential activities of product transposition-packing and packing material. The packing that is adequate for local transport does not have to be adequate for the international trade due to a reason of different transfer of material products using different modes of transport, as well as taking into account the package weight because in some countries the customs clearance is determined depending on the gross weight of the consignments. As one of the solutions for the packing problem in international trade, the usage of intermodal containers if offered for easier merchandise transfer in the international transport. Also given is an analysis of the need of international warehousing of material products forcing the companies at the global market to satisfy the increasing demands of the consumers and for that purpose to redesign their distribution systems in order to rationalize the business costs by decreasing their own distribution locations.
INNOVATIVE CAPITAL EXPENDITURE IN GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMPANY
BOJAN JOKIĆ
Every company tries to increase its productivity by introducing in the production some new technical solutions. For such solutions it is necessary to provide the appropriate amount of capital to be invested in the acquisition of new techniques and technologies. From this point of view, capital expenditure in the development of enterprise application causes objectively conditioned economy. Therefore, the analysis which this paper deals with refers to consequences of capital expenditure to objective conditioned economy whose changes come due to introduction of new production techniques and technology as the innovative elements of the investment policy. Additional capital investments in obtaining new technology and techniques are conditioned on the one hand by the increase of cost of operation funds, on the other hand the reduction of labor costs, increase productivity due to live work and material due to the improvement of technological procedures and processes that allow the rational use of elements of production. In practice of business operations different combinations of these changes are possible. It is possible that investments in new equipment and technology comes to reducing the cost of funds for the work per unit of product, but to slightly increase the cost of materials. It is also possible to reach the reduction of labor costs and resources for the work per unit of product due to the application of modern technical and technological solutions and to a lesser extent, increased costs of materials per unit of product. All these aspects have been treated in this research through various forms of innovative investment and their reflection to rationalizing the operating costs and improving product quality, improving overall business success through an appropriate case study of a specific company.
ON APPROXIMATE OPERATIONAL RULES FOR SOLUTIONS OF OSCILLATION EQUATION
LEKIC MILENA(1), CVEJIC STANA(1), DIMITROVSKI DRAGAN(2)
We have solved canonical equation (1) by method of successive approximations by Pickar and obtained two fundamental solutions in the form of sequences - iterations. When also diverges. Solutions (2) are plain Euclid's sine and cosine for a(x)=1. For the positive a(x), they are sufficiently high to cause oscillations, being some non elementary functions close to Euclid's sine and cosine, which we have called sine and cosine with base a(x) or generated sine and cosine. By applying theorem on mean value of integrals, method of geometric means and method of small interval, we have determined very precise approximate formulae for oscillating solutions of the equation (1) of the following type. The approximate solutions (3) provide rather elementary operational formulae for addition theorems, derivatives, integrals etc. for which the function has the crucial role and they can also be extremely helpful for determination of oscillating solutions of differential equations of the following form:
DESIGNING INFORMATION SYSTEM OF HUMAN RESOURCES IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION
NOVIČIĆ MIOMIR
In the process of accreditation of higher education institutions, it is noticed that information system of human resources does not satisfy the demands of accreditation commission. Existing information system of human resources was built on the basis of general postulates of HRM, so the most important data about employees, teachers competence were not integrated in that information system. There was the need for coordination of data, registers, documents and reports with the existing system of institution quality and standard regulations established by state institutions or by Commission for accreditation within the same institution. Project team for implementation of information system of human resources initiated creating special applications which are intended for employees in the firm and which can be accessed through so called HR portal. In this context, portal represents incorporated system internet/web based applications which enable the use of many different applications by employees and especially educational staff. Software solutions for backing up management in making decision connected with teaching process are based on specificities whish are very important to the teaching staff in higher educational institutions: competence for teaching in the specific field, published works, titles, information about the latest scientific discoveries, solutions for improving the knowledge of employees (knowledge management) -System of new employees education, systems of continuous education, systems for following latest discoveries in the work field of employees, external specialization, etc. Besides, that system also includes general elements of human resources, managing data about employees, managing health and retirement insurance programs and managing the retirement services. The goal of this research is to provide, according to the proposed information model of human resources HEI, reliable documentation for partial and general evaluations, as well as for national and international accreditation which higher education institutions have to go through. Establishing integrated data base about human resources (knowledge system) the model for quality insurance is made, which can be compared with other higher education institutions and universities.
TOP MANAGEMENT SERVICES PROVIDERS COMPANIES. ANALYSIS OF THE MANAGEMENT STYLE WITHIN CLEOPATRA CENTER LTD. B?RLAD.
PĂUNA DAN
Top management which directs and controls the overall activity of the organization, in general, is responsible for planning and interpreting of the purpose of the organization for determining, its business strategy and its main policies. One of the main problems facing commercial establishments offering commercial services is to find a way to differentiate the offer keeping in mind deal that these units dealing with services and whose main characteristic is intangibility. One of the ways standing out the offer is to ensure that there are good quality services. This can not be obtained without the services of a highly motivated staff who understands the importance of their work in the smooth running of the enterprise. The best way to determine if substantive change is required or only a perfectory in terms of companies policy to concerting the employees is to retrieve this information directly from those involved, which is why I find it relevant to undergo a study that will reveal to what extent there are any employees of service companies (Cleopatra Center Ltd.) are motivated and what their attitude toward work and management is. In this way it is necessary to better understand of the environment in which they operate activity, a better knowledge of the stimuli that motivate them and, not least, the presence or absence of these incentives in the company's management policy. This present study aims to discover the views of employees (individuals), their opinions about the management, the extent to which pay system provides job satisfaction, and to determine what should be done to improve or the working conditions or cover the deficiencies.
RESEARCHES CONCERNING THE DETERMINING OF THE COMPOSITION OF THE FOUNDRY PLASTER
SIMIONESCU GHEORGHE, CIUCESCU DORU
The plaster is less used as a binder in the foundries due to its mediocre mechanical resistance. The composition concerning the calcium sulfate and carbon dioxide of the plaster is relevant in obtaining a good resistance of the foundry moulds. This paper try to establish the way of determining the values of these two mineralogical components, which assure an appropriate resistance of the foundry moulds made from plaster.
SYNTACTIC ANALYSIS AS CENTRAL PHASE IN WORK OF COMPILER
SIMOVIĆ VESNA
A compiler is projected as a modular and well structured programming system. The compilation process, in a logical point of view, is divided into stages and each of the stages is divided into phases. In physical regard, the compilation process is divided into passages. Two of main stages of the compilation process are analysis and synthesis, making only the core of the compilation process. During the analysis, the compiler analyses the source program in order to determine its structure and meaning. The analysis stage is decomposed to three special phases: lexical analysis, syntactical analysis and semantic analysis. The synthesis stage also consists of three special phases: code generation on interlanguage, intercode optimization and code generation. In this paper the analysis phase- syntactic analysis is elaborated.
