PROMISE ELECHI(*1), SUNNY ORIKE(1), WINNER MINAH-EEBA(1), CHIKERENMA EZINNE IKPO(1)

This research explained how to establish the optical receiver sensitivity and the link power budget design in terms of quality factor, receiver power and bit error rate (BER) for several values of attenuation at 100km fiber length. The design parameters which were taken into consideration were a constricted transmitter, Zender modulator, attenuator, lowpass Bessel filter, Non-Return-to-Zero modulation format, CW laser, avalanche photodiode (APD) and PIN diode detectors and the type of network coding, Bit Error Rate Analyzer (BER) etc. The objective was achieved using optisystem 7 professional simulation software layout to design the power system budget and optical receiver circuit, the avalanche photodiode and PIN diode were used as the detector. Optisystem simulations were used to determine the optimum power and the receiver sensitivity for several values of attenuation. This research investigated and analyzed the performance of optical receiver at a wavelength of 1550nm. Simulations were made and the Bit Error Rate analyzer values for the various parameters taken. Several values of Q-Factor and Bit Error Rate were tabulated, and the corresponding graphs plotted. There was an improvement in the quality factor, the quality of signal with a low noise value and the extended transmission or propagation time was reduced.

DEVELOPMENT OF CERAMIC MICROFILTRATION SUPPORT FROM MOROCCAN SAHARA CLAY

NOURLYAQUIN EL QACEMI(1), NABIL SAFFAJ(*2), RACHID MAMOUNI(1), NOURREDINE EL BARAKA(1), HAMID ZIDOUH(2), MOHAMED AIT BAIH(2), ABDELATIF LAKNIFLI(1)

The new ceramic microfiltration support prepared from Moroccan clay (Laayoune region, South of Morocco) is reported in this paper. To optimize the support elaboration conditions, the powder clay is mixed with organic additives and water. The formed paste is shaped by using an extrusion processing and then sintered at 950 °C. The ceramic supports present a porosity and mechanical strength of 44 % and 12MPa respectively. The layer filtration deposition has been carried out by the slip casting method, in order to test its operation in textile effluents treatment.

THE CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF SOME SORGHUM GENOTIPES FOR GRAINS CULTIVATED IN THE CENTER OF MOLDOVA

SIMONA – FLORINA ISTICIOAIA(*1), OANA MIRZAN(1), DIANA POPA(1), MARGARETA NAIE(1), VALENTIN VLADUȚ(2), IULIAN VOICEA(2)

In the lab, three sorghum hybrids for grains cultivated in the Center of Moldova were analyzed qualitatively, two of them having white grains, and one having red grains. Two of the hybrids, one with white grains (Albanus) and one with red grains (Alize) came from Euralis SAS France, and the third, with white grains, came from N.A.R.D.I. Fundulea Romania (Fundulea 32). The results obtained from the laboratory investigations indicated that the variation of the chemical composition of the sorghum grain depending on the cultivated hybrid.

A PROJECT MANAGEMENT GEOINFORMATICS UTILITY FOR HEALTH PROTECTION AND SANITARY DRAWINGS IN GREEN CONSTRUCTIONS - INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS

TILEMACHOS KOLIOPOULOS(*1), SOKRATIS THEOCHARATOS(2), PANAGIOTIS KOULOUMPIS(2), CRINA RADU(3), ION CRISTEA(3)

This research study analyses the life cycle assessment of different waste management techniques and sanitary drawings in landfilled waste treatment units' biotechnology at Community Health Centres design for the protection of Public Health from biogas emissions, leachate hazardous toxic acids and landfill biomass biodegradation stages. The environmental impact assessment is examined of associative pollution spaces of Community Health Centres minimising the relative public health's risks. Moreover, it examines the significance of phytobioremediation techniques for landfills' heavy metal concentrations and associated risks minimisation. Reclamation works are examined in associated risks minimisation of toxic hazardous concentrations that could enter in water resources, food chain and agricultural resources. A useful geoinformatics utility is presented in this research study for project management of associated infrastructures in green sustainable construction designs; the optimum operation of Health Centres and associated infratructures for the protection of Public Health.

RESEARCHES REGARDING THE INFLUENCE OF THE NUTRITION SPACE AT CASSIA ANGUSTIFOLIA Vahl. (SENNA) SPECIES CULTIVATED UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF A.R.D.S. SECUIENI

OANA MIRZAN(*1), MARGARETA NAIE(1), SIMONA-FLORINA ISTICIOAIA(1), MARIA BOSTAN (1), BOGDAN MIRZAN(2)

The present paper presents the results on the influence of the nutrition space at Cassia angustifolia Vahl. (Senna), cultivated under the conditions of A.R.D.S. Secuieni in 2017. The interaction of the studied factors was characterized by very significant negative differences to the production of fresh herb at Cassia angustifolia compared to the control variant (30666 kg/ha) at the distance between rows of 50 cm and 70 cm at all three distances between plants per row (continuous row, 15 cm and 25 cm).

MEASURING NOISE LEVEL IN THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY

CLAUDIA TOMOZEI(*1), ALEXANDRA PIPA(1), OANA IRIMIA(1), MIRELA PANAINTE-LEHADUS(1), FLORIN NEDEFF(1)

The Company SС Sonomа Trаding currently owns a production area, the activity being carried out on a placement has a built area of 275 m2. The monitoring of the noise level within the company Sonoma Trading SRL was carried out for three weeks, between 18.05.2015 - 5.06.2015; for the noisiest equipments. Result of noise level was in the range 82.41 dB – 63.73 dB. The background noise was 38.59 dB. Based on the results of the measurements made, the noise map for both tailoring rooms was prepared: the tailor room and the ironing - stapled - packing section. According to the obtained results, the noise level values within the company Sonoma Trading SRL do not exceed the maximum allowed imposed by the legislation in force.

A NUMERICAL STUDY REGARDING THE INFLUENCE OF THE LONGITUDINAL EXTENT OF A T-SHAPED CRACK ON THE EIGENFREQUENCY DECREASE OF CANTILEVER BEAMS

CRISTIAN TUFISI(1), GILBERT-RAINER GILLICH(*1)

The paper analyzes the effects of T-shaped cracks in beams regarding the manner in which the frequencies of the bending modes change. We determined the eigenfrequencies of the damaged beam involving the finite element method for five lengths of the branched crack’s longitudinal components and numerous crack locations. This permitted plotting the frequency shifts curves and calculating the relative frequency shifts. Afterward, we extracted the damage patterns for all crack types and one crack position. It was found that the patterns are quite similar, just differing by their amplitudes, thus by normalization the damage severity effect can be suppressed.
