Abstract
Pillared clays have drawn a great deal of attention, due to their catalytic and textural properties in different reactions. In this work we present a theoretical study regarding the process of clay pillaring in time inside the laboratory. One should consider extending it to the industrial level. The importance that pillared clays have on the protection of the environment is very high.
