XEROPHYTIC FLORA OF ONESTI DEPRESSION (CAIUTI-OITUZ SECTION)

Abstract
In the investigated area, situated in the
Trotuş River basin, between Oituz and Căiuţi
tributaries, there have been inventorized 1052 of
species, of which 139 species are from places
characterized by very low humidity.
These also include a vestigial remnant of
forest steppe vegetation situated on the hills in the
proximity of Oneşti town.
