Abstract
The Translations of Heinrich Heine’s Works that Facilitated the Quick Reception of the Writer in Romanian Literature in the Latter Half of the 19th Century
During the latter half of the ninetieth century there was a large openness of the Romanians to the West, which aims to inform them about the political and cultural life in the Western countries. The influence of German culture on the Romanian one was realized not only through the translation into Romanian language of the works of German writers. During this period, Romanians opened up to the West, which was intended to inform them about the political and cultural life in Western countries. In this context, the first songs of the Book of Songs appeared in Romanian literature.
