MAGALI LORION(1,2), AXEL COUTURE(1,3), PIERRE GRANDCLAUDON(1,2*)

A new technique for the assembly of diversely substituted 3-hydroxy(alkoxy)-3-arylisoindolinones has been developed. This new synthetic route is based upon the anionic cyclization of suitably substituted halogenoaroyl acylamines as the key step and gives access to a variety of highly functionalized models.

The crystal of the title complex belongs to monoclinic, space group C2/c with a = 29.283(7) Å, b = 6.7305(15) Å, c = 17.243(3) Å, β = 109.25(3)º, V = 3208.4(12) Å3, Z = 8, Dc = 1.621 mg·m-3, μ = 1.590 mm-1, F(000) = 1576, and final R1 = 0.1284, ωR2 = 0.3895. X-ray analysis reveals that the Zn(II) center is seven-coordination with a O7 distorted pengonal bipyramidal coordination environment. The Zn(II) complex molecules form 1D chain structure by the hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking interactions. The antitumor activity of 1,2-phenylenedioxydiacetic acid ligand and its Zn(II) complex against human intestinal adenocarcinoma HCT-8 cells, lung adenocarcinoma HCT-116 cells and human lung adenocarcinoma A549 cells line have been investigated.

THE STUDY OF FISH SUPPLEMENT AND BUTTERFAT SUBSTITUTE EFFECT ON EXPIRY DATE OF PROCESSED CHEESE PRODUCT

NATALIYA LOTYSH(*), TAMARA ARSENEVA

The sector of functional products has top-priority meaning – it is the most convenient and natural form of introduction and enrichment of the human organism with vitamins, mineral substances, microelements and other components. Attraction into the branch of raw materials of non-milk origin – fish supplements and substitutes of butterfat – served the basis of technology development of processed cheese products of combined content, which in accordance with acting terminology are called processed cheese products. The technology of processed cheese products allows easily regulating their content by introduction of corresponding supplement that facilitates obtainment of product with set properties and content. Inclusion of meat and fish as the raw materials in the processed cheese content results in enrichment of the product with macro- and microelements, unsaturated fatty acids, except for regulation of fatty acid content of cheese products is executed by substitution of butterfat by butterfat substitute.

SYNTHESIS, CRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF A NOVEL 1D CHAINED Na(I) COORDINATION POLYMER MATERIALS BASED ON SCHIFF-BASE LIGAND

LI-HUA WANG

A novel 1D chained Na(I) coordination polymer materials has been obtained by reaction of 2-hydrazinobenzoic acid with 2-formyl-benzenesulfonic acid sodium salt in CH3CH2OH/H2O. It was characterized X-ray single crystal diffraction analysis. The crystal of the Na(I) coordination polymer belongs to triclinic, space group P-1 with a = 6.0354(12) Å, b = 8.1922(16) Å, c = 18.729(4) Å, α = 93.70(3)º, β = 95.68(3)º, γ = 97.03(3)º, V = 911.8(3) Å3, Z = 2, Dc = 1.444 μg·m-3, μ= 0.245 mm-1, F(000)= 412, and final R1 = 0.0833, ωR2 = 0.2867. X-ray analysis reveals that each Na(I) center is six-coordination with a O6 distorted octahedron coordination environment. The Na(I) ions are linked through the O atoms of sodium 2-{(E)-[2-(2-carboxyphenyl) hydrazinylidene]methyl}benzenesulfonate to form 1D chain coordination polymer.

INVESTIGATION OF SAFETY OF BOTTLED DRINKING WATER WITH USE OF ALIVE TEST - OBJECT – PLANARIA

LYUDMILA G. ELISEEVA(*), IRINA A. MAKHOTINA, PETR P. GOROZHANIN, OLGA V. YURINA

The samples of drinking water in bottles were compared by organoleptic, chemical composition and safety. To determine safety the method of biotesting with Planaria (Dugesia tigrina) was used. The degree of planarian regeneration in different water samples was measured. The data obtained showed that this test object may be successfully used for assessment of safety of bottled drinking water with sufficient correlation with organoleptic properties and toxic elements content. The properties of water were shown to depend on the source and producer.

SYNTHESIS AND INFRARED STUDY OF POLYNUCLEAR DABCO ADDUCTS WITH NiCl2 AND CuCl2

MAMADOU NDIAYE(1), ABDOULAYE SAMB(1*), LIBASSE DIOP(2)

The proposed structures for the studied adducts - DABCO.3[NiCl2·2H2O].EtOH and 2DABCO.3CuCl2.4EtOH or 3DABCO. 4CuCl2.5EtOH are discrete with two or three metallic components, the environments around the Nickel centres being octahedral or square planar, while being octahedral , linear or a square based prism around the Copper centres, the DABCO behaving as a monodentate or bridging bidentate ligand or being lattice. Extra intermolecular interactions via hydrogen bonds when considered, may lead to supramolecular architectures.

FRANÇOIS X. NSHIMIYIMANA(1, 2), MARIA-EMA FACIU(2*), ABDELLAH EL ABIDI(3), SOUAD EL BLIDI(4), MOHAMED FEKHAOUI(4), IRINA LOREDANA IFRIM(5), ABDELMAJID SOULAYMANI(1), GABRIEL LAZAR(2)

Water samples from wells and samples from soil nearby them were taken during dry (June-September 2013) and wet (December 2013, January - February 2014) seasons and concentrations of Cd, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn were determined. Contamination Factor for each heavy metal and Nemerow pollution index were calculated showing a decrease in contamination degree from summer to winter for soil and an increase in case of groundwater. Vertical transfer of pollutants from top soil to groundwater was assessed using Hierarchical Cluster Analysis, significant correlations between concentrations and composition of soil being found. In case of Ni, the variables corresponding to the concentrations from soil and groundwater were part of the same cluster, in both seasons, the distribution maps of concentrations confirming the pattern of transfer.

SOME NEW SULFONATO ADDUCT: SYNTHESIS AND SPECTROSCOPIC STUDIES

MOUHAMADOU BIRAME DIOP, LIBASSE DIOP(*)

Three new adducts have been synthesized and studied by infrared and NMR spectroscopies. The suggested structures are discrete with a pyridine -3- sulfonate acting as a tri O-chelating and N-donor or as a non σ coordinating ligand, a 4-aminobenzenesulfonate behaving as a monodentate O-donor, the environments around the tin centre being tetrahedral, octahedral or seven coordinated. In all the studied compounds, supramolecular architectures are obtained when hydrogen bonds are considered.
