"Scientific Studies and Research. Series Mathematics and Informatics" is a biannual scientific journal  published by "Vasile Alecsandri"  University of Bacău, Faculty of Sciences, Department of Mathematics and Informatics and is  edited by "Alma Mater" Publishing House from Bacău, since 2009. It is the continuation of the journal "Studii şi Cercetări Ştiinţifice. Seria Matematică" (ISSN 1224-2519), that was regularly published from 1990 to 2008. (see http://pubs.ub.ro/scssm/)

"Scientific Studies and Research. Series Mathematics and Informatics" publishes original research papers and surveys from several  areas of  both pure and applied Mathematics and of Informatics . The journal covers a broad range of topics, that includes, but is not limited to: general topology, fixed point theory, differential geometry, functional analysis, numerical analysis, graph theory, combinatorics, PDE’s and their applications, artificial intelligence, programming  languages, theory of data, theory of computing, algorithms, discrete mathematics. Interdisciplinary research articles are welcome, especially those dealing with applications of Mathematics and Informatics to Physics, Chemistry, Economy, etc.

Scientific Studies and Research Series Mathematics and Informatics (SSRSMI) is committed to publishing only original articles which are not considered for publication elsewhere and have not been previously published (except for electronic preprints and parts of the academic theses). All the authors of an article jointly accept the responsibility for the submitted manuscript. The articles submitted for publication in SSRSMI are expected to acknowledge the work of other researchers through appropriate citations and references. All the articles are checked for plagiarism. If the ethical standards for publication are not met, or the degree of novelty is low, or the original contribution is not a significant one, then the article will be rejected, and the corresponding author(s) will be notified.

The contributed papers should be written in English or French. The title of the paper and the names of the authors are followed by a short abstract, 2- 6 keywords and phrases and Mathematics Subject Classification numbers. References, including titles of the papers, are numbered, ordered alphabetically according to the authors’ name, with the abbreviations of the Mathematical Reviews for journals.

The institutional affiliation, mailing address, e-mail address and ORCID number of each author must appear at the end of each manuscript.

Manuscripts prepared for publication should be submitted in PDF format by e-mail, at the e-mail addresses mmocanu@ub.ro and rardeleanu@ub.ro. The manuscripts must be accompanied by a SSRSMI - Cover letter.doc signed by the corresponding author on behalf of all authors of the paper; this is a necessary condition for entering the peer-review process.

After receiving a manuscript, the Editorial Office will send an e-mail message to the corresponding author.

Contributions to this journal must report original research and will be subjected to peer review by referees.

The Editor-in-Chief assumes the final decision on: (a) acceptance without changes; (b) minor revision; (c) major revision; (d) rejection of the manuscript, then communicates this decision to the corresponding author.

The corresponding author receives only one set of proofs for correction. Upon acceptance of the paper, the authors will be asked to send the source file containing the paper, in TeX format (see the attached file SSRSMI - Template.tex) and the sources of the figures, if applicable.

The source files of accepted manuscripts will be accompanied by the SSRSMI - Publication agreement.doc, completed and signed by all authors.

The Editorial Board is dedicated to publishing only high-quality papers.
All scientific papers submitted to "Scientific Studies and Research. Series Mathematics and Informatics" undergo a rigorous peer-review process, as outlined below:
1. Papers should be submitted to the Editorial Office, by e-mail, at the addresses mmocanu@ub.ro and rardeleanu@ub.ro.
2. Upon receipt, each manuscript is initially evaluated by the editorial board. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's scientific standards or fall outside its scope may be rejected at this stage.
3. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are checked for originality using plagiarism detection software approved by the Romanian Ministry of Education and Research.
4. The selected manuscripts are then reviewed by one or two experts in the relevant field. The reviewers submit to the Editor-in-Chief an evaluation report using the journal’s SSRSMI - Manuscript Evaluation Form.doc, containing their comments and recommendations on the scientific quality of the paper and advises whether it should be accepted, accepted subject to revisions, or rejected.
5. The Editor-in-Chief forwards the reviewer’s reports to the corresponding author, who is invited to modify the paper in accordance with reviewers’ recommendations and suggestions.
6. After the revision of the paper, the Editor-in-Chief verifies that all requested revisions have adequately addressed and communicates the final publication decision to the corresponding author.
7. Accepted papers are due within 15 days after notification on the acceptance.
8. No article processing charges (APCs) or publication fees are required. Authors are not charged for the submission, processing, or publication of their manuscripts.

ETHICAL STANDARDS

Scientific Studies and Research Series Mathematics and Informatics (SSRSMI) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. The journal follows internationally recognized ethical guidelines and expects all authors and reviewers to adhere to these principles. SSRSMI publishes only original articles which are not considered for publication elsewhere and have not been previously published (except for the electronic preprints and parts of the academic theses). All authors of an article jointly accept the responsibility for the submitted manuscript. The articles submitted for publication in SSRSMI must acknowledge the work of other researchers through appropriate references. Published research in this journal typically does not involve human participants or animal subjects, but in rare cases where interdisciplinary work includes such elements, authors must provide evidence of appropriate ethical approval and informed consent.

All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software. Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, and any other form of research misconduct are considered serious violations of publication ethics and will result in the rejection of the manuscript or, if discovered after publication, the retraction of the article.

Manuscripts may also be rejected if they fail to meet the journal's ethical standards, lack sufficient originality or scientific novelty, or do not make a significant contribution to the field. In all such cases, the corresponding author will be informed of the editorial decision.

COPYRIGHT STATEMENT

The authors retain the copyright for their article and agree to transfer first publication rights to the journal if and when the article is accepted for publication.

By way of illustrative examples of re-use, each author retains the following rights:
• copyright, and other proprietary rights relating to the article, such as patent rights;
